fimuu.com.tr respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This page explains our copyright policy and the procedure for submitting a notice of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Our Position on Copyright

We publish editorial content about real estate, architecture, and property. Our articles are original work. Images that accompany our articles are used in the context of news reporting and commentary, sourced from public listings, press materials, or licensed libraries, and credited where credit is required or requested.

We do not knowingly publish infringing material. When a valid concern is raised, we act on it quickly, and in most cases we resolve the matter within a few business days rather than weeks.

Before You File a Formal Notice

If you are a photographer, agent, or rights holder who has found your work on this site, you are welcome to email us directly before going through the formal process below. Many issues are resolved simply by adding attribution, adding a link back to your site, or removing the image on request. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Email info@fimuu.com.tr with the page URL and a description of the material, and tell us what outcome you would like.

That said, you are under no obligation to contact us informally first, and doing so does not affect any of your legal rights.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that material available on fimuu.com.tr infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notice of claimed infringement. Under 17 U.S.C. section 512(c)(3), a valid notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has allegedly been infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of those works.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it. A direct URL to the specific page is the most useful form of identification.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Send your notice to:

Email: info@fimuu.com.tr

Please include “DMCA Notice” in the subject line so that your message is routed correctly and handled without delay.

What Happens Next

Upon receipt of a notice that substantially complies with the requirements above, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your notice, normally within two business days
  • Remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice
  • Notify the person who posted the material, if the material was posted by a user rather than by us
  • Take reasonable steps to prevent the same material from being republished

If your notice is incomplete or unclear, we will contact you to request the missing information rather than simply rejecting it.

Counter Notification

If material you posted was removed as a result of a DMCA notice, and you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. Under 17 U.S.C. section 512(g)(3), a valid counter notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of that person.

Send counter notifications to info@fimuu.com.tr with “DMCA Counter Notification” in the subject line.

Upon receipt of a valid counter notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If that party does not notify us within ten business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material.

False Claims

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.

Please consider carefully whether the use in question is actually infringing before submitting a notice. Fair use, fair dealing, and similar doctrines may permit the use of copyrighted material for purposes such as news reporting, criticism, and commentary. If you are unsure, consult a lawyer.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Use of Our Content

The original articles, editorial text, and original photography published on fimuu.com.tr are protected by copyright and belong to us unless otherwise stated.

You may quote short excerpts from our articles for the purposes of commentary, criticism, or news reporting, provided that you attribute the excerpt to fimuu.com.tr and include a link to the original article.

Republishing full articles, substantial portions of articles, or systematically scraping our content is not permitted without written permission. If you would like to republish or syndicate our work, email info@fimuu.com.tr and we will discuss it.

Some material on this site originates from third parties, including property listing photographs, press images, and embedded content. Copyright in that material remains with its respective owners. Where we have been asked to credit a source in a specific way, we do so.
